Item: Wool-based Carpet Padding (top photo)

Description: Wool based carpet padding is a blend of course naturally pigmented wool's mechanically needled (not glued) to a jute facing. Eighty percent of the wool fiber is pre-consumer waste.

The padding is free from dyes, fire retardant, glues, moth proofing or adhesives. Color will vary from charcoal brown to tan, depending upon fiber availability. Some vegetable matter may be present. Average thickness is 3/8 inch, and the average weight is 30-32 oz/sq. yd. USA.
