MILDEW AND NATURAL FABRICS:

MILDEW WILL GROW on any untreated fabrics(including hemp) which remain wet, or dry too slowly in an unventilated room. If you use your curtain in the shower, we recommend the following actions to help avoid the growth of mildew and to ensure your curtain stays beautiful for years:

1. Use a plastic liner on the shower side of the fabric curtain, OR...
2. Treat curtain with moisture-repellant product BEFORE using or washing
3. Allow fabric to hang freely when drying, direct sunlight ok.
4. Pre-Soak curtain in water with 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar before
washing to kill any mildews if they appear.
